During the frozen zones, network changes such as release upgrades, changes in configuration or
extensions to the central network components are restricted. The solving of problems in the network
as well as urgent maintenance work are not affected by the frozen zones.
Our frozen zones concern in particular the ends of each quarter and semester.
Customer orders that require work on central network components are made outside the frozen
zones. However, thanks to appropriate measures in the order handling it is normally possible to
carry out orders within the normal reaction time.
Due to the frozen zones you have the guarantee that Swisscom does not do any work on central network
components on the end of each quarter and semester which could lead to interruptions and impair your
network.
