The following pages show the stringent tests to which we subject our Internet backbone. Swisscom provides you with an insight into the traffic load and the performance of certain connections on the national and international backbone of IP-Plus® Internet Services.

We measure the following network parameters for you round the clock:

• Traffic load (Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly)
  Traffic load of a specific connection within the IP-Plus Internet backbone.
  
  
• Performance (Monthly)
  

  -	Round trip delay: Average time it takes for a data packet within the IP-Plus backbone to cover the route between the originating measuring equipment to the destination and back.
  -	Packet loss: Number of data packets in percent which are lost due to overload or malfunctions on the IP-Plus Internet backbone.
