General service description
The IP-Plus Web Hosting is a Service Option for IP-Plus customers not having their own
web server infrastructure and therefore need the functionality of a virtual web server.
Through a highly automated, easy to use interface, the ordering and set-up of IP-Plus Web
Hosting is done by the customer, and the website is online within one working day. IP-Plus
Web Hosting is designed to meet standard customer requirements, Swisscom's Electronic
Commerce Divison will be happy to support customers with complex needs and requirements for
web hosting.
Features
The following features are currently available and will be enhanced with further
service releases:
- your own Domain Name (www.yourdomain.ch /.com /.org etc.)
- 20, 30, 40, 50 MB diskspace or more
- Domain Name Mapping
- Microsoft Frontpage 2000 support
- FTP client support
- Preinstalled CGI scripts for Counter, Guest Book, Form Mailer
- User installable CGI scripts (Perl 5) in a secure environment
- Access statistics
- Daily backup
Server infrastructure
IP-Plus Web Hosting runs on state of the art UNIX servers that are connected directly
to the IP-Plus backbone. This infrastructure stands for high availability and high
performance which provides your website with an excellent accessibility throughout the
Internet.

Web Hosting can be reported 7 days / 24 hours to
Customer Support (CSU).
The support is provided from Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 18:00.

Order
The IP-Plus customer can order IP-Plus Web Hosting on http://webadmin.ip-plus.net/ using his Username /
Password for IP-Plus Service Options. After having placed an order, the customer will
receive a Fax message indicating the necessary parameters for uploading his files and
accessing the statistics. The website is online within one working day. Upgrading or
downgrading the diskspace is possible by placing a new order for the requested diskspace.
