We have 3 official DNS servers running:

• ns1.ip-plus.net: 164.128.36.34
• ns2.ip-plus.net: 164.128.76.39
• ns3.ip-plus.net: 164.128.36.54

If you fully depend on our DNS service we strongly recommand to configure more than one DNS in your system. This gives you a highly reliable DNS service even if one of our systems may fail.

For all secondary DNS configurations insert an NS record in your zones for ns1.ip-plus.net:

yourdomain.ch. IN NS ns1.ip-plus.net.

Do not include any glue record for ns1.ip-plus.net.

Tools

To help you with your DNS configuration we have several tools available:

• To manage your DNS entries you can use the DNS Domain Management. That interface gives you the ability to fully administrate your DNS entries on the IP-Plus DNS infrastructure. Please be informed that all "Change Requests" regarding DNS changes will be charged with CHF 50.00 per change.
• Dig DNS check allows you to check records on your DNS with an outside view.
• DNS Check Tool gives you hints what's right or wrong in your domain configuration.
